Familiarisation Day

All 500 WorldSkills Australia National Competition competitors arrived at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for a Familiarisation session from 3pm-5pm today.

By all accounts it was very worthwhile for competitors to get aquainted with their tools, surrounds and the general  competition space before competition and the onslaught of visitors tomorrow morning. It is expected that crowds of approx 70,000 will visit the competition over the 3 days. Doors open at 9am tomorrow.

Many competitors commented on how awe- inspiring it was walking into the competition site, the enormity of the event and look forward to commencing competition tomorrow.
